Gender & Leadership in Missional Perspective (w/ Cherith Fee-Nordling & Scot McKnight)

Debate has and continues to mark much of North American Christianity around the issue of gender and leadership in the Church. In this workshop, Drs. Cherith Fee-Nordling and Scot McKnight of Northern Seminary address the issue from a “missional perspective,” seeking to cast some fresh light and move the conversation in a direction that might prove more fruitful than standard accounts.

Workshop Description:

This workshop will address the question of the relationship between gender and leadership in ministry. We will survey how narrative approaches to biblical hermeneutics and how kingdom and eschatological theological perspectives help us to reframe and reimagine how we understand and engage this issue in and for mission. Ample time will be offered for questions and dialogue.
