We are a mere 6 weeks way from our third North American gathering, Awakenings: The Mission of the Spirit as the Life of the Church! As a few details continue to fall into place, we’re excited to confirm the involvement of 14 additional presenters and to provide a sampling of the kinds of conversations that will be taking place in Alexandria, April 27-29.
Check out all presenters
A diverse group of over 50 presenters will be coming together to help shape our thinking and practice when it comes to the person and work of the Holy Spirit. Alongside the foundational talks that will offered in plenary sessions and in conversation forums focused on the three key areas of spiritual warfare, personal discipleship, and community transformation, here’s a sampling of additional conversations that will be taking place.

We are also very excited to announce several important auxiliary events that will be taking place:
In this post-election year, network with other church/ministry leaders of color to discuss how we can be spirit-led in order to lead ethnically and politically diverse communities. How can leaders of color ensure that we are following the holy spirit’s lead within our personal and public lives in the midst of various ideologies of justice and urgency? How can we lead diverse churches into productive and safe dialogue with each other, and how can we sense the spirit leading us where we should/should not get involved in politics? Dive into these questions and more with other leaders of color around the nation. LEARN MORE
Missio Alliance is excited to reconnect women church leaders across the United States during this breakfast. Although there are many amazing and needed conferences and projects related to women leaders in North America, there are very few that are designed specifically to engage women who lead in church and ministry contexts and the unique opportunities and challenges they face. Please come and connect with other women leaders as we engage with one another and our unique contexts in ministry. LEARN MORE.
And still others for church planters, spiritual formation enthusiasts, and non-denominational church leaders. SEE ALL AUXILIARY EVENTS.
