From the beginning of time, God’s strategy for getting things done in his world was for his image bearers—male and female—to serve him together. That powerful alliance, which God blessed, broke apart in the fall. The world and the church have suffered the consequences ever since. Jesus came to reunite and redeploy that Blessed Alliance. This calling redefines leadership in kingdom terms, binds us together in rich diversity, and asks more of all of us.
