We are so excited to introduce you to to our newest Alliance Partner, Wesley Seminary! Like us, Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University is uniquely focused on engaging and equipping women and men to serve the Church as deeply reflective practitioners, capable of leading congregations and ministries in ways that face the challenges of our day head on.

It has been my deep honor to be a part of watching Missio Alliance emerge over the last few years, from just the seed of an idea to then another idea, and to now having a world impact. I am delighted that Wesley Seminary is joining as an Alliance Partner with Missio Alliance.

— Rev. Jo Anne Lyon, Interim Vice President for Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University.

The Alliance Partnership is about kingdom collaboration – tearing down institutional walls and collaborating and cooperating with other institutions and organizations across denominational boundaries. The benefit to Wesley Seminary and to its students will come about through faculty development. We’ll be able to talk with others about church planting in the 21st century and stay on top of cutting-edge curriculum development for the seminary. Our seminary students will learn from and benefit from that level of collaboration with other institutions.

Dr. David Smith, Dean of Wesley Seminary

Missio Alliance has enjoyed and benefited from a strong relationship with the Wesleyan Church since our very beginning. Dr. Jo Anne Lyon has not only bolstered our efforts as a Board member, but has been a constant source of wisdom and guidance as we have sought to navigate the challenges of our day and discern the unique role of Missio Alliance within them. This new partnership with Wesley Seminary is certainly a fruit of these relationships, but also represents something that both we and they care deeply about, locking arms with fellow sojourners as we walk forward into the future of God’s mission together. Missio Alliance is grateful for Wesley Seminary’s partnership and I personally look forward to all the ways that we will be able to collaborate for the glory of God and the good news of His kingdom!

— Dr. JR Rozko, Missio Alliance Co-Director
