Missio Alliance is pleased to announce our new partnership with North Park Theological Seminary.

North Park Theological Seminary (NPTS) is the denominational seminary of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Central to North Park’s mission is the development of the whole person for God’s glory and neighbors’ good.

Missio Alliance exists to resource, gather, and embolden Christian leaders to reshape the church’s witness in the world. Through partnerships like this with individuals, congregations, schools, denominational bodies, ministry organizations, and networks, Missio Alliance addresses the most vital theological and cultural issues facing the North American church in God’s mission today.

According to Missio Alliance national director Lisa Rodriguez-Watson, “Not only does North Park Theological Seminary provide a robust theological education, they also produce meaningful educational events for their broader university community and city. Their groundbreaking work with incarcerated men and women through the School of Restorative Arts is exemplary, and we are thrilled to bring greater exposure to this and many other important aspects of the seminary’s work.”

NPTS sought out this partnership because it is a partnership that enriches our aspiration to be and form followers of Jesus Christ who worship wholeheartedly, think critically and with respect to context, and have the emotional and spiritual fortitude to engage others with humility, appreciation, and a posture of learning. This partnership with Missio Alliance is a wonderful opportunity for North Park to reflect on who we are, why we do what we do, and how we do what we do.

NPTS is doing unique and important work for the Kingdom of God. We are excited for the ways this partnership can share their stories and amplify their efforts.
