William (Bill) is the associate pastor of Saint Peter's Church in Charleston, SC, an ordained minister in the Anglican diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others, and an adjunct professor for William Jessup University's MA program in Christian Leadership. He received his PhD in philosophy of religion from Claremont Graduate University with a focus in political theology. He is also a graduate of Baylor University and Truett Theological Seminary and has previously been an adjunct professor of Christian ethics at the University of the Incarnate Word and a youth and college minister in several churches and campus ministry settings. He is a regular lecturer at the Ridley Institute in Mt. Pleasant, SC, and a directed study professor of theology through Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Bill is passionate about learning how to make disciples in a post-Christendom context and providing accessible theological education to the local church. He and his wife Whitney are originally from Austin, TX. In his spare time, Bill enjoys running, surfing, podcasts, cigars, and playing the guitar.
