Austin Maxheimer
Austin has been a practitioner of neighborhood revitalization for fifteen years. He started in neighborhood work through his church as they began an engagement initiative alongside marginalized neighbors within a disinvested neighborhood. It was through this work that Austin's understanding of Christian outreach and mission was transformed into more holistic expressions. He spent several years mobilizing missional communities and local churches into missional engagement before shifting full-time into leading neighborhood revitalization initiatives. Austin remains a practitioner and coach of other neighborhood-
based organizations. This year he celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary and welcomed his first grand-baby into the world.
