I'm a former PCUSA pastor. I left being a "professional" Christian four years ago in order to write, teach, and seek to discover new ways of being church that reflect both theological integrity and pastoral connectivity to our neighbors today. I have an MA in Biblical Studies from Columbia Theological Seminary and an MDiv. from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. I have four children, two grandchildren, and a dog. My wife and I moved to Longview in East Texas several years ago to live close to and be a significant part of our grandchildren's lives. I've just started work in this last year on some community-building and trying to grow a missional community out of a traditional congregation here in town.
