Description

This webinar has concluded and can now be downloaded as a video resource. The download includes the PowerPoint Presentation used by Dr. John as a separate file.

The biggest headlines of the past few years tell stories of immigration, refugee crises and global trade complexities. These stories and many more point to an undeniable trend shaping the 21st Century: Global Migration.

This has already begun to shape the church in North America. New and vibrant “diaspora churches” now fill the religious landscape that was once dominated by historically Western expressions of Church.

What does this tell us about what God is doing in the Church in North America?

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • What is diaspora and how are diaspora churches formed.
  • How diaspora churches engage in mission through transnational networks.
  • How diaspora churches have already reshaped the American religious landscape.

There will also be ample space in the webinar for questions from participants.
