Studying Scripture should never happen in isolation. Sadly, many church leaders struggle to find thoughtful discussion partners on the topics that matter most.
Roundtable Book Discussions are an interactive online forum that brings you together with members of the Missio Alliance team and other church and ministry leaders of diverse backgrounds and contexts from across the country for online discussions of important works that matter to you and the people you serve.
We are excited to launch our first Roundtable with N.T. Wright’s, Paul: A Biography
A compelling modern biography that reveals the apostle’s greater role in Christian history—as an inventor of new paradigms for how we understand Jesus and what he accomplished—and celebrates his stature as one of the most effective and influential intellectuals in human history. Englewood Review of Books
Join Tara Beth Leach, Glenn Packiam, and Derek Vreeland in an interactive monthly discussion of this book as we seek to draw out the implications of Paul’s life for the life of the church in the 21st century.
According to Professor Wright, the work of theology as a whole-people-of-God experience. Church leaders and committed Christians are invited to join in on this discussion as we wrestle together with what it means to be the church in the midst of our post-Christian context.
