Click To TweetPlough, the publishing arm of the Bruderhof communities since 1920, is an independent publisher of books on faith, society, and the spiritual life with branches in New York, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Plough also publishes Plough Quarterly, a magazine of stories, ideas, and culture to inspire faith and action.
Our friends at Plough have already partnered with us on a number of gatherings, most recently our third biennial gathering, “Awakenings: The Mission of the Spirit as the Life of the Church.”
A message from Plough…
Plough is pleased to announce a new partnership with Missio Alliance.
As a non-profit publisher, Plough is dedicated to giving people tools to put Jesus’ message into practice and to building networks of thinkers and doers, so we are very glad to be joining Missio as a partner.
As a society, we’re at a critical but exciting moment in which Christians must learn how to act as a creative minority just like the early church did – letting go of coercive power in order to follow in the footsteps of Jesus as a community. That’s where the Anabaptist tradition, to which Plough belongs, can offer its wisdom and experience. At the same time, our calling is to seek unity with believers of all traditions as well as common ground with all people of good will. We’re looking forward to joining with Missio in this work for the gospel.
