A World of Difference

First generation, California-born Frank Carbajal’s parents were migrant farm workers in the early 70’s, and were offered jobs in canaries in the Silicon Valley. His parents did important work, feeding a nation with diligence and dedication.

Amy Stumpf, Ph.D. is a Professor of Society and Religion at California Baptist University. She grew up as a TCK in a family that worked in Relief and Development in the Philippines and Thailand.

Doni Aldine is a globally mobile Afro-Latina and first-generation North American who, by age 19, lived in seven cultures on five continents. She is passionate about creating community for cross-cultural populations.

Dr. Grace Ji-Sun Kim received her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and is Professor of Theology at Earlham School of Religion. She is the author or editor of 20 books, most recently, Hope in Disarray; Keeping Hope Alive; Reimagining Spirit and Intersectional Theology, and Healing Our Broken Humanity which she co-wrote with Dr.

Dr. Angie Ward brings over 30 years of ministry experience to her roles as leader, writer, and teacher. She currently serves as Assistant Director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Denver Seminary.
