Introducing Missio Alliance’s First Writing Fellows Cohort!

At the end of 2020, Missio Alliance conducted its first-ever Writing Collectives Equity campaign. The funds raised during this campaign were earmarked to solicit and publish content from writers of color and Majority World contributors starting in 2021, as we believe that our continued progress as a church will especially come from learning from voices on the margins.

Thanks to contributions from many of you and the incredible leadership and generosity of our board of trustees, we were able to raise a sufficient fund from which we can create greater equity and opportunity for these writers, and a key part of utilizing these funds was to create our first cohort of Writing Fellows. These nine individuals were selected due to their outstanding contributions and leadership to the church and their capacity and love for writing, which we believe will educate, encourage, and exhort our readers to deeper and more faithful commitment to Christ and his mission.

I am pleased to announce our 2021-2022 Writing Fellows:

Please take a moment to read more about each of our Fellows, and you can look forward to seeing their contributions to our Writing Collectives in the weeks and months to come. I am excited to work with these Fellows along with our Writing Team members and Leading Voices as we continue to offer thoughtful content to advance God’s witness in the church and the world. And as always, we also welcome contributions from you as a part of the Missio Alliance network. You’ll find more details on how to submit articles to our Writing Collectives here. Thank you for your continued engagement and participation with our Writing Collectives. We appreciate every page view, “like”, and share of our articles, and we hope you will continue to do so in the future, especially as you see articles emerging from our Fellows.
